The Streamtek Tool Cooler often replaces costly mist coolants and improves the output and quality of all types of drying machining operations from plastics to metals. Made of heavy-gauge stainless steel, they are precision-machined, assembled and tested under strict quality control. They will never rust or pit when exposed to water, coolants, or other corrosive materials.
Streamtek Tool Cooling Cold Gun System:
Streamtek Tool Cooler is a new solution to a very old problem. The Cold Air Gun Systems produces a flow of clean cold air flow at approximately 50°F (28°C) below inlet air supply temperature. The unit is powered entirely by compressed air and is muffled on both hot and cold end for quiet operation. It will remove heat to prolong your tool life and increase productivity on machining operations when liquid coolants simply cannot be used. In addition, there are no moving parts to wear out.
Tool Cooler Cold Gun System – Operation:
Streamtek Tool Cooling System uses a simple Vortex Tube to produce cold air at one end. The hot air is exhausted as waste at the muffled hot end of the Tool Cooler. As the cold exists through the flexible adjustable hose, it’s muffled. The adjustable hose is used to direct the air where cooling is needed.
To allow for easy mounting and portability the magnetic base is used to mount the Tool Cooler to the machine.
Dual Point Cold Air Gun
The Dual Point Cold Air Guns are typically used in applications where the heat is generated over a large surface area such as in milling, sawing, chill rolls or application of hot melt adhesives.
